2024 Vermeer® Horizontal Grinders HG6000TX

Process wood waste more efficiently with the HG6000TX horizontal grinder.

Self-propels into the most remote jobsites on 20-in (50.8-cm) or 24-in (61-cm) double grouser track pads. High ground clearance and sealed rollers help keep material from building up in the track system. State-of-the-art wireless remote lets you operate the machine from up to 300 ft (91.4 m) away.

SmartGrind system
  • Increase productivity thanks to the exclusive Vermeer SmartGrind system, which automatically controls grinding speed based on engine rpm levels.
Series II duplex drum system
  • Improve cutting performance using the patented series II duplex drum system with reversible hammers and cutter blocks that simplify maintenance and nearly double wear life.
Top-loading screens
  • Top-loading screens are designed to give operators easy access.
Thrown object deflector (TOD)
  • Enhance jobsite safety with a TOD that reduces the quantity and distance of thrown debris.
Drum feature
  • Diversify your end product by incorporating the fuel chip attachment (FCA), allowing your grinder to be converted to a chipper.
Mobility
