The HG6000 features a Cat C-rated C18 Tier 4 Final engine specifically chosen to meet the demands of your operation as well as those set by governmental regulations. It also comes with two adjustable screens – allowing you to mix and match screens to meet your end product needs for a variety of applications. So what exactly does this mean for you? Simply put, this system allows for more versatility on the jobsite meeting your end-product needs from mulch to biofuel markets all with one machine.

SmartGrind system
  • Increase productivity thanks to the exclusive Vermeer SmartGrind system, which automatically controls grinding speed based on engine rpm levels.
Series II duplex drum system
  • Improve cutting performance using the patented series II duplex drum system with reversible hammers and cutter blocks that simplify maintenance and nearly double wear life.
Single-piece discharge conveyor belt
  • Achieve better flow of material with our single-piece discharge conveyor belt.
Thrown object deflector (TOD)
  • Enhance jobsite safety with a TOD that reduces the quantity and distance of thrown debris.
Drum feature
  • Diversify your end product by incorporating the fuel chip attachment (FCA), allowing your grinder to be converted to a chipper.
