2024 Vermeer® Tub Grinders TG9000

The TG9000 tub grinder packs innovation and power for the large land-clearing projects and organic/wood waste processing applications.

When you need maximum power for your high-production grinding operation, the TG9000 is an ideal choice. The TG9000 features a large-diameter opening of 11 ft (3.4 m) inside the tub. The patented Series III duplex drum offers proven cutting performance and reversible hammers and tips that maximize the wear life of single-sided designs and make daily maintenance efficient.

  • A CAT C32 Tier 4 Stage V engine provides 1,125 hp (838 kW) of power to meet your jobsite demands.
Optimal cutting performance
  • The patented Series III duplex drum offers proven cutting performance, and reversible hammers and tips nearly double the wear life of single-sided designs, simplifying daily maintenance.
Jobsite safety
  • The thrown object restraint system (TORS) reduces the amount and distance of thrown material debris and has a smooth underside of optimal material flow.
Precise placement
  • The radial stacking rear discharge conveyor oscillates 60 degrees, allowing the operator to place the processed material where they need it without moving the machine.
Convenient control
  • Make machine adjustments or monitor real-time performance and data via the machine control panel or the handheld transceiver remote.
High production
  • Smooth, 63-in (160-cm) belt enables high-volume product removal and is constructed of 0.5-in (1.3-cm) thick rubber to help resist tearing and puncturing.
