2024 VermeerĀ® Trommel Screens TR6400
Designed with toughness, compactness and ease of maintenance in mind. The TR6400 trommel screen was designed with toughness, compactness and ease of maintenance in mind. The 100 hp (75 kW) Deutz Tier 4 Final engine, combined with a 6 ft (1.8 m) by 20 ft (6.1 m) drum is ideal for topsoil, compost and woody biomass applications.
Features may include:
Deutz 3.6L Tier 4F (Stage IV) engine- The Deutz 3.6L Tier 4F (Stage IV) engine meets all U.S., Canada and European Union tier/stage regulations.
Drum service access- A single large drum door along the side and entry from the end provide superior drum service access.
Low hopper height- A low hopper infeed height helps to decrease loading cycle times and eliminates the need for loading ramps with most loaders.
Quick change drum- Efficiently change product size by exchanging drums
Quick change screens- Screen changes can help improve jobsite efficiency, a particularly important feature when processing a range of materials that requires frequent screen changes. The design also creates a smooth exterior on the drum, reducing the amount of brush wear.
Square lift bars- Square lift bars inside the drum enable more material to be carried at a slower drum speed helping decrease fuel consumption and premature wear.
Swing-out engine bay- A single large access door provides engine service access.
Tensioned screens- Compatibility with smaller gauge wire increases the open screen area thus overall production of the machine, particularly in applications when processing wetter materials.
Vermeer ACS control system- These control systems offer the operator flexibility when operating from the machine or cab of the loader. Operators can also adjust conveyor height from the remote, providing the ability to keep them low to the ground to reduce blowing of material.
